Ms. Kaiyah:: Infant Portrait Session

Yea! I’m almost caught up!! And some would say that the best is always saved for last. Not that I’m saying that- the past families I’ve had the privilege to photograph are counted among the best. (I LOVE all my clients! Seriously, I’m incredibly blessed by each and every one!) But, the proud mom and dad of this four week beauty and the excited grandparents, aunties and the like, would probably argue as such!! I shared a quick sneak peek a couple weeks ago and I wanted to share more of my favorites from our session!  I do want to say that Mom and Dad (amazing first time parents) are doing such a beautiful job with her! They are so tender and relaxed with her!  I love being able to capture a little family’s first days together- there is something so beautiful and heartwarming about it.  It is a joy to be invited in to share and capture it for them!  That said, enjoy! Caleb:: Six Month Portraits

So, I’ve gotten some wonderful rest this weekend since my husband was out of town and my parents took the kiddos for a couple days! (You guys are the best!!) I even got to head out of town with a couple girlfriends last night and hit Hula’s, a Mongolian grill in Chico, CA that I’ve been craving for months now!! Seriously, it is the BEST! That noodley goodness is so fabulous! And then follow up that dinner with a shopping trip to Ross- a place I only ever get to go with friends because Hubby hates it because its less of a store and more of a treasure hunt. And treasures I did find!

But I digress… I tell you these things to say, I’ve been able to play a little catch up and realized that I have two sessions from last month that I never got to fully share! So, today I bring you more of the adorable Caleb!! We were able to go out and get his six months portraits and, I feel in those two short hours, I was in love with this cutie. Seriously, he was such a wonderful boy! And his mom and grandma are such fabulous women as well!! I adore all of them! I sure hope I get the opportunity to see more of this amazing family!! Enjoy!!

Last week I got the special privilege of meeting and photographing a four week beauty! Being a little older than some of my other previous infant sessions, this little girlie was a bit more alert and watching us with her beautiful brown eyes (though, eventually she got comfy and fell asleep for the last portion of our session). I’ll be sharing more next week once I’ve gotten them all finished up for her mommy and daddy but I wanted to just get a couple out for them to see!

This sweet-pea loves her tongue; she wouldn’t go without showing it off to everyone.  It made me smile!

When Mr. Caleb’s sweet mommy called me initially for his three month portraits, I unfortunately was in the middle of the crazy fall schedule and wasn’t able to squeeze them in (much to my disappointment)! So, when she contacted me again in January about his upcoming 6 month session, I was super excited to meet this fabulous family!! When discussing the session with Jody, she shared that Caleb is a super smiley guy and he did not disappoint for our session last week! Oh my goodness! Super adorable! Here’s just a peek of what we captured… be prepared for total cuteness!!

Love his smiles!!

Mr. Caleb decided to show that he had learned to sit up on his own, this very day!!  What a cooperative model!!

So many of you have followed the adorable Pagan family over the last several years here on my blog. Two years ago, I was able to share images from their “reveal party” when all their close family and friends discovered the gender of their baby to come in October.  Then, Jeremy and Kelly invited me into the room when they met their princess for the first time; an amazing experience and an honor to share with them!  And for the last year I’ve had such great fun capturing their beautiful family (here she is at five months and again at nine months) !! Well, it’s only fitting to get to share with you their portraits from their most recent time in front of my camera.  They had some exciting news that they wanted to share with their family and friends and got some pictures for a Valentine’s Day card to spread some love all around!  Enjoy!

 

Jeremy & Kelly- Congratulations to you all!  We are so super excited to meet this new little bundle!  Love you lots!
