This blog is long overdue! This spring we got to spend the weekend with Mark and Julie and their amazing family and friends to celebrate and capture their union as husband and wife down in Sonoma County! This wedding was such a beautiful day- not just because it was held at Trentadue, a gorgeous vineyard in beautiful Geyserville; not just because every detail was painstakingly perfected by Mark and Julie down to handcrafted wooden doors for the aisle entry (**swoon!!); not just because Mark and Julie’s family and friends are some of the most welcoming and loving people on the planet (and now honorary family members!)- but because of Mark and Julie’s beautiful love for one another and for the Lord that has brought them together over the years!! All through the day they kept looking at each other with an unfading smile and joy in their eyes.
One of Julie’s nieces and flower girls admiring the bride’s dress.
Julie wore a beautiful sapphire pendant for her something blue down the aisle. Gorgeous!
Julie’s closest friends and sisters! I loved my time with these girls!
Julie is the best! She wanted to climb into the tub for some fun, playful shots before going off to meet up with Mark for their first look!
Mere moments before the first look…
Always one of my favorite parts of the day!
Julie’s aunt, Joan DeGraaf of Cattails Florist in Danville, CA did the florals for the wedding- this bouquet is stunning!
She also affixed one of Julie’s grandmother’s brooches to carry down the aisle with her.
Mark and Julie’s bridal party were such amazing people! They are abundantly blessed!
Julie and her Dad planned for a dance halfway down the aisle as a surprise for the groom and the guests- such celebration and fun!
Surprise was a success- from tears to laughter!
The stunning grounds at Trentadue Winery made for a beautiful backdrop for their vows
A quick snap of all those who were able to attend the wedding with the newly married couple and family in the back!
Trentadue’s reception hall was a beautiful venue for their intimate dinner affair
While the guests indulged in the savory dishes, we snuck off for a couple more photos of the bride and groom.
Oh, Julie! Seriously gorgeous!
Mr. Dunn, you’re looking pretty dapper yourself sir!
Love the light in the middle of a vineyard!
(Just a photo note: we had private permission to photograph on these train tracks. It is not an advised practice to photograph on train tracks in most situations.)
I love how much these two love to have fun!!
As the sun set, we kicked off the night with much dancing and celebration!
It was such a joy to capture your beautiful day, Mr and Mrs. Dunn!! Thank you for welcoming me into your family and letting me celebrate with you all!
